Happy St Patrick's Day! In the next few weeks, the TNP team has a special provider presentation coming up at our coalition meeting, is starting up a new boys' support group, and is offering trainings for parents & teens. Read on and please help share the flyers, which you can download below.
PROVIDER PRESENTATION
The Norwalk Partnership (TNP) will have our monthly coalition meeting LIVE on the 29th, 12pm-1:30pm, at Norwalk Public Library. Special presentation by Brian Weeks, Norwalk Health Dept, sharing data on Norwalk emergency room visits due to substance use (all ages). Due to limited space, please RSVP here.
UPDATED SUPPORT GROUPS
Our next free mental health support group for HS-aged boys in Norwalk will start on April 19th. It's a 10-week group led by a Positive Directions clinician and hosted by YBI, funded through a City ARPA grant.

Our 2nd annual NorWALK for Mental Health will take place on Sat. May 6th (rain date: May 13th). The event involves an wareness walk, speakers, and a prevention & wellness fair. Hidden in Plain Sight parent substance use awareness training was rescheduled due to weather and will now take place on the 28th at WRMS. All middle school parents are encouraged to attend! FORO SOBRE LA SALUD MENTAL Y PREVENCION
Our Spanish-language mental healh & substance use awareness program for middle & high school aged parents (with or without their teens) will take place on the 30th at NPS Family Center. Please share the info to Spanish-speaking families!
QPR SUICIDE PREVENTION TRAININGS
TNP is providing QPR suicide prevention trainings to teenagers in our high schools -- but are parents & providers all aware of warning signs and how to respond and connect to help? Every month there are 3 free opportunities to take a QPR training online, and Positive Directions can also bring the training to your community group (English or Spanish). Take advantage!
